Business Law Society's
VITA Program
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program trains students to provide free, IRS‑certified tax preparation services to low‑ and moderate‑income community members. Through hands‑on client work, volunteers gain practical experience in federal tax law, interviewing, and professional communication while delivering a high‑impact public service. Students complete IRS certification, operate within a structured clinic environment, and help ensure accurate, accessible tax filing for individuals who need it most.
